For context (not bitchin' or anything) that video must be about 5 years old as they're talking about the 45th anniversary of the Shinkansen (50th coming up next month). Also the Tokyo Station building renovations have been completed (and mighty fine it looks too). I'm sure there have been a couple of new iterations of the N-700 as well.

yep. Its a older Video, but new to me. NHK has a series about Japan, and that's part of it. The show is running for a view years now.

I only watched the vid for the first time a few months ago.  There will always be new videos to us.  We'll never be able to watch them all.
