NHK World - Document 72 Hours: Sunrise Express

Sorry for the late notice, purely accidental that I noticed this in the NHK World listings: the episode of Document 72 Hours shown 4 times in the next 24 hours will be about passengers of the Sunrise Express, actually the Sunrise Izumo service in particular, if the description is accurate. I saw the episode of this show about the coin lockers in Kamagasaki, it was fairly serious subject matter. This won't be railway-centric, but may be of general interest to members of this board.

I'm pretty sure they re-broadcast these in one block at the weekend, probably Sunday evening. At least that's how I've seen previous episodes.

Interestingly, the Sunrise Izumo train is quite well-patronized, mostly because the prices are surprisingly reasonable. This is because if you ride the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Okayama then take the Yakumo limited express, the cost is nearly ¥20,000! A lot of people like to ride the Sunrise Izumo, mostly because you don't have to change trains for the one-way trip.
