Shinkansen 50th Anniversary Celebrations?

By the way, I haven't heard anything recently about the 50th Anniversary celebration of the start of Shinkansen service, which will be coming up on 1 October 2014. Has JR Central planned anything special?

I haven't heard much , but I know that there was a exhibition on the 50th anniversary of the Shinkansen earlier this month at the Takashimaya department at Nagoya Station.
