Sacto1985
YouTube member nimo5 just uploaded a two-part zenmen tenbou video of a trip on the JR West Sankō Line, newly-reopened after the severe damage from last summer's heavy rainstorms: Hamahara to Iwami Kawamoto: Iwami Kawamoto to Gōtsu: Most of the flood damage was between Iwami Kawamoto and Gōtsu. 2 Link to comment
cteno4
It banks sacto! I find these single track lines so fascinating to watch the transition in scenery and all the great scenes just like 3" scale off either side of the tracks. The little details at each platform, the backyards, crossings, all very unique and charming. So want of model, this type line in a series of longer thin modules. Someday! Jeff 1 Link to comment
westfalen
Glad to hear the line has reopened, in 2011 I did a trip over the line from Hiroshima to Gotsu and returned via Masuda and Shin Yamaguchi. There are not many lines left in Japan were you will find such sparsely populated timetable boards. Link to comment
