miyakoji
Thanks Sacto, I hadn't seen this uploader before, and I don't think I've seen some of these sections of track. Link to comment
Sacto1985
Thanks Sacto, I hadn't seen this uploader before, and I don't think I've seen some of these sections of track. I really liked the video of the Ōme Line from Okutama to Ōme, in spite of the tunnels along the way. I wonder was the video taken from a special weekend train because the platforms at Mitake and Ōme Stations were packed full of people like you normally get during commute hours. That must have been one of the Holiday Rapid Okutama services that runs on weekends. Link to comment
Guest keio6000
These are all very good and I will add them to my collection, though watching the yokohama line can surely only appeal to somebody who has an emotional attachment to it :). The amazing thing is that for all the excellent videos out there, there are no really good ones of shinkansen. surely, demand for this must be quite high. of course, for a shinksen, official coordination is required. still, it's a pity. Pro tip: for subway lines in particular, you can get "better than the real thing" (given glare, passengers, etc) videos by searching for "BVE5". This ginza line (shibuya-asakusa) example is a good one: Link to comment
Sacto1985
I've found a couple of other good zenmen tenbou videos from this same YouTube member: Seibu Shinjuku Line from Honkawagoe to Seibu Shinjuku Stations on a Seibu 2000 Series EMU: Note the pretty loud traction motors on this trainset. Tobu Tojo LIne from Tobu Ikebuburo to Ogawamachi (Saitama) Stations on a Tobu 50000 Series EMU: Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
The amazing thing is that for all the excellent videos out there, there are no really good ones of shinkansen. There are DVDs for that. I have one taken from a 0 series that is excellent, and well worth the price. Link to comment
