jrcrunch
where do you buy your 1/80 scale diorama items? anybody tried Sankei for buildings and JTT microscale for your trees? Link to comment
cteno4
jr, both are good. there are some threads on sankei kits. i think mark has part of a thread somewhere on doing the ho sakei ware house. here is on of the main threads http://www.jnsforum.com/community/topic/2026-sankei-paper-kits/ only think might be to do a little bracing on the ho walls to make sure they dont eventually warp some with moisture. also hitting with dullcoat inside and out to make sure humidity does not get at the. over all though they are nicely detailed and go together well. just make sure to label the parts when you remove them to make sure you remember which is which and check orientations as some wall sections are almost identical. I have a few of the cheap jtt tree limbs (to use as small trees in n and some of the ground foams to play with. look to be decent quality. they have come out of architectural modeling. mrc is now repping them all over the place. the high end trees look nice in the box at the hobby shop. cheers jeff 1 Link to comment

cteno4
its too bad MsCollection does not do N scale! really nice details. perhaps too much to simplify to scale down. my wallet would hate me if i did HO! cheers jeff Link to comment
Jcarlton
For what you get the prices seem reasonable. I haven't checked building kit prices lately, but I wood kit prices here in the states have been in the same range. Link to comment
cteno4
Yeah, for the HO size they do seem reasonable. It's 4x the material and cut time neede over n scale so reasonable the prices as for these laser kits the materials and cut time are the lions share of the cost. Why I like n scale!
