Ken Ford
I know a guy that has such a light touch that he can reliably remove car numbers on plastic rolling stock without harming the underlying paint. A blaster gun is on my short list since I've been building brass kits from the UK. Link to comment

I had fun making the tarpaulin from an old plastic bag! Edited August 25, 2014 by dabsan 3 Link to comment

bc6
This is my first Aru Nine Model kit, Im still working on getting some lights into it. Does anyone have any ideals about a headlight lamp for the front and rear of this boxcab? 1 Link to comment
cteno4
I’m pretty sure Narrichi at MTP usr to carry headlight details for arunine. jeff Link to comment

cteno4
Looks like only one style left at MTP https://www.modeltrainplus.net/collections/aru-nine-arumo-n-scale/products/aru-nine-skull-type-tail-end-light-optional-parts these are casting so you would need to drill them out to put an SMD led in there. Would probably need a 0201 smd led jeff 1 Link to comment
bc6
Thanks, Jeff I appreciate the link. Here are a couple more Aru Model kits that are almost completed. Can someone let me know if Aru has mechanisms that fit these kits? Edit: I added the latest Aru kit that I put together "Very easy wooden bogie passenger car" Edited January 21, 2024 by bc6 Link to comment

Tony Galiani
Very nice work. I have three ARU 9 kits in my to do box but have been intimidated by them and have kept putting off tackling them. Need to get over that I guess. BTW - what do you do for coupler mounts? Tony 1 Link to comment
bc6
Thanks, You know about the three foot rule right lol. I was intimidated by them at first but then I said to myself "No one is going to assemble them for you" Yeah you will get over it Im sure. Right now Im just using whatever is on the Kato chassis for coupler mounts. 1 Link to comment
cteno4
Nice work! I love the AruNine kits, they are just the right blend of detail but simple tab assembly and very affordable price and perfect entry points into making kits like this as if there are some little disasters, nothing huge lost! cheers, jeff Link to comment
