ARU Nine brass kits

I know a guy that has such a light touch that he can reliably remove car numbers on plastic rolling stock without harming the underlying paint. A blaster gun is on my short list since I've been building brass kits from the UK.

Hi, I had a lot of funny making this ARU Nine brass kit. :)

Another ARU Nine kit I made last week. I had fun making the tarpaulin from an old plastic bag!

This is my first Aru Nine Model kit, Im still working on getting some lights into it.

Does anyone have any ideals about a headlight lamp for the front and rear of this boxcab?

Thanks, Jeff I appreciate the link.

Here are a couple more Aru Model kits that are almost completed.

Can someone let me know if Aru has mechanisms that fit these kits?

Edit: I added the latest Aru kit that I put together "Very easy wooden bogie passenger car"

Very nice work.  I have three ARU 9 kits in my to do box but have been intimidated by them and have kept putting off tackling them.  Need to get over that I guess.

BTW - what do you do for coupler mounts?

Thanks, You know about the three foot rule right lol. I was intimidated by them at first but then I said to myself "No one is going to assemble them for you" Yeah you will get over it Im sure. Right now Im just using whatever is on the Kato chassis for coupler mounts.

Nice work!

I love the AruNine kits, they are just the right blend of detail but simple tab assembly and very affordable price and perfect entry points into making kits like this as if there are some little disasters, nothing huge lost!

cheers,
