Davo Dentetsu
Curious as to why MicroAce supply 1006 plates for their blue and white JRF EF64 1000s, yet the only pictures I can find...Am I going nuts? Or am I missing the obvious? Did 1006 ever wear the JRF colours or is it a fictional MicroAce faux pas? Link to comment
kvp
I've checked some of the photos and it seems that both 1005 and 1007 were repainted into JRF colors, but 1006 didn't. Actually allmost every other locomotive from this series have been repainted. The newest image i could find is this, but this was taken 4 months ago: http://geshazento-youko.cocolog-nifty.com/images/2014/01/D700-DSCN11157t.jpg (2014:01:04 12:37:00 EF64 1037 + EF64 1027 + EF64 1028 + EF64 1006) http://geshazento-youko.cocolog-nifty.com/railwayfan/2014/01/index.html Link to comment
Davo Dentetsu
How unusual. Wonder if there are other examples of model makers getting it a bit worng now and again. Link to comment
