bikkuri bahn Posted May 5, 2014 Share Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) Yes, it's the Sangi railway. The scenes are at Higashi Fujiwara Station, adjacent to the Taiheiyo Cement plant. The grade crossing near the station is one of the best spots in the nation to observe freight shunting by box cab electrics- highly recommended, I personally vouch for it as I was there last summer during an immensely enjoyable daytrip from Osaka. The trains are regularly double-headed. There is also a grade leading up to the station limits which has a great vantage point among the rice fields to photograph the freights.
