bill937ca
Golden Week action at the Kamakura terminal alongside the JR East Yokosuka line. A steady procession of two-car trains arriving and departing every 12 minutes. Edited May 4, 2014 by bill937ca 3 Link to comment
Densha
The 355 has to be my favourite, you should be able to open a window to breathe sea air when you're riding a seaside line right? Why air-conditioning, why? Link to comment

Densha
No... never been there yet, but that was to be expected. I really think all train manufacturers worldwide should imply the windows+aircon combi more often, as on this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EV-E301_series Way better for the environment. bikkuri bahn
Looks like it is right next door to a larger set of rail lines? op: Golden Week action at the Kamakura terminal alongside the JR East Yokosuka line. The 355 has to be my favourite, you should be able to open a window to breathe sea air when you're riding a seaside line right? Agree. I'm not a fan of the faux wooden tram/bric a brac stylings of modern Enoden stock-obviously these are to cater to the tastes of tourists. To their credit, they keep the oldtimers running, which does keep the memories alive for me of childhood journeys made with my grandmother when she lived in Kamakura. Link to comment
Jcarlton
Apparently the Enoden thinks Golden week is Christmas. I can't imagine why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChJMjwX3sFs Link to comment
The Next Station Is...
The Enoden is a fantastic little railway. I've been on it between Fujisawa and Enoshima, but I'm hoping to go back one day and make the journey to Kamakura as well. Link to comment
