ToniBabelony
Definitely an interesting addition to the fleet! In a few weeks, there is the Keikyū Family Festa in Keikyū Kurihama where a Sky Blue Train (600 type), the Happy Yellow Train (1000 type) and a standard Keikyū red train (probably another 1000) will be in the lineup. I'm not sure if I'll be going, since I'm horribly busy... :( Link to comment
Keikyu
What makes it happy? Yellow is happy? Needs a big grin on the front! ;-p Jeff Yellow is apparently a psychologically happy color or something. Also happy emoticons are yellow. You can trust that, I'm a rocket surgeon. 1 Link to comment
bill937ca
Its Golden Week so there should be lots of videos. Red gets coupled to yellow. Edited May 3, 2014 by bill937ca 1 Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Apparently if you call Keikyu's customer service center after 2pm, you can find out the train's schedule the next day. Edited May 3, 2014 by bikkuri bahn Link to comment
cteno4
Ooh so after these red yellow couplings we will see a 50/50 of red or yellow progeny later in the year! Or we can couple some yellows to back cross out some green trains! Jeff Link to comment
ToniBabelony
And after the yellow train, there is a full red train, the 1500 type Akafuda-gō. It only operates on the Daishi-line in 4-car formation, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up some day on the main line in this livery. You never know with Keikyū... Not really one of my favourites... It just screams MEITETSU. Keikyū doesn't really have much interesting stuff regarding alternative liveries. It's the combination of them that makes it more interesting, plus the huge variety of trains makes up for it all (especially on the main line north of Kamata). 2 Link to comment
Davo Dentetsu
Bit of Portram-esque colouring going on, I like it! Needs a green, a purple and a pink for a full set. :P 1 Link to comment

ToniBabelony
Keikyu is the rainbow of train companies. Actually, Keikyu only sports red as a company colour. There are coincidences like the Sky Blue trains (single 2100 (2157) and 600 (606) types) and the Happy Yellow train (a single 1000 (1057) type) that add a little bit of variety. It's the combination with Keisei (red and blue (standard livery), blue tones (3050 types)), Hokusō (two tone blue), Chiba New Town (yellow and blue (9100 type C-Flyer and the single 9200 type), red and green (the single 9000 type)), and Toei (black and red) that make it a colourful appearance. At that, only on the Shinagawa-Kamata-Haneda Airport section. :P Link to comment
Densha
With Keikyu having their yellow train, of course Sotetsu had to make their own as well: Link to comment

ToniBabelony
As promised, the pictures. Includes one JR train, because it was on a special charter run (185 Series). Also, terrible quality. Terrible light. I was there and you were not. 3 Link to comment
Davo Dentetsu
Not happen to bump into our unofficial goddess of YouTube rail fandom by any chance Toni? :P It appears on my feed automatically and that's the story I'm sticking to! Link to comment
ToniBabelony
Not happen to bump into our unofficial goddess of YouTube rail fandom by any chance Toni? :P Naw, I was too busy not to trample all the kids running around there (next year, I'll drag my own son along). She was a bit earlier there as well, since it was still quite sunny. After 12:30 it turned cloudy and windy. Link to comment
bill937ca
This didn't take long.
