Sacto1985
YouTube user MrTsuDOOM filmed this interesting zenmen tenbou video of a ride on the Ohmi Railway with its very loud traction motors on the trainset from Ōmi-Hachiman Station to Hikone Station in Shiga Prefecture: Note when the train arrives at Hikone Station, the camera continues to record video as the train is moved back and forth on the tracks inside the depot next to the station to park the train. Nick_Burman
Note when the train arrives at Hikone Station, the camera continues to record video as the train is moved back and forth on the tracks inside the depot next to the station to park the train. Notice also that when the shunting signal clears a (annoying) chime sounds in the cab to remind the driver that he is cleared to move just up to the shunting signal. Given the volume of expected traffic, the railway has quite a large collection of trains. Cheers NB Link to comment
Sacto1985
Here's another zenmen tenbou video of a trip on the Ohmi Railway, this time from Maibara to Kibukawa Stations. And yes, the traction motors are still as loud as ever. 1 Link to comment
