Nick_Burman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTC4q3nOu7M Scenes from the now long closed Osaka Cement plant railway near Maibara. The line is now a cycle path and the locos are on the Oigawa Railway, tagging behind the steam trains. The (Alco, if I can remember well) 2-6-2T is at the Sangi Museum. More about this line here http://tsushima-keibendo.a.la9.jp/oosaka-cement/oosaka-cement1.html Cheers NB 4 Link to comment

Nick_Burman
Nick, according to one of my reference books the Sangi 2-6-2Ts were built by Hitachi. Cheers, Mark. Oops, thanks. Noticed the loco has plate frames, an American machine would have had bar frames. Unfortunately the web page which was my Sangi resource seems to have disappeared. Cheers NB Link to comment
