Since January I have joined a train club here in Italy

and we have attended this hobby show, that is one of the two biggest one in Italy, the other one will

be in september

 

The train are digitally controlled using a Z21

 

I'll attach here a video taken during the show, I can be seen around the video playing with trains

Jeff,

I show up  at 00:30 when I'm taking out of the yard the Tokyo metro train for a run on the layout and then I show up starting at 02:00 when I'm waiting for my freight train to show up from the tunnel, it's an EF81 500 (JRF) towing 2 cement hopper, 2 kirin beer wagon and 1 silver taki 3000

 

Here and there in the layout there are some bits of Japan like a kato overhead station and some Japanese trains, I met there Matteo_it.

 

I was pleased that some of the public attending the show were able to recognize japanese trains on first sight

 

My Shinkansen (an 800 serie Tsubasa) was not ready for the race I had not converted it to digital yet

700 and 500 are some of my favorite Shinkansen, I hope to get them later on if budget allow it
