Back from the dead

Hello all,

 

Here is one I've just brought back from the dead...a Micro-Ace shorty loco which I had originally modified to take a Sommerfeldt pan, then abandoned in the scrap box, then resuscitated again into an "oil-electric" (complete with rooftop radiator and chimney) or into a vertical-boilered geared loco (it depended on what day of the week it was... :D), ditched again and now brought back as an electric loco for my Japanese road. The white plastic sheet on the rooftop was necessary to hide my bodging of the area. Next is a trip to the paint shop, to be repainted brown with a thin yellow strip on the bottom of the body (sort of Sangi-like).

 

I have enough bits of Micro-Ace "C" locos floating about to warrant a possible second loco of the same type...

 

Apologise for the poor photos, still coming to grips with my new Nikon D3200...(will possibly need a course in photography...)
