Best color for Loco tail light

I'd like your opinion on loco tail light

My tomix EF66 has a red lightpipe for tail light, but no led installed

I plan to buy some smd led prewired on ebay, but what color do you advise to use?

 

A white led (let me know if pure white, golden light or warm white) or a red led even if I already have the red lightpipe?

Tomix usually use a red LED for tail light, even though the lens is already red.

I'll use then a red SMD led, I need only to receive all the material I have already ordered

I have the resistors, now I'm missing the led and the decoder

leds and decoders are currently lost around the world

Please also remember to insulate the legs of the LED as per the Tomix light board above.
