E231-500
Hi all This is a question mainly for the forum folk who reside in Japan but any help is appreciated. Back in early 2012 (i think it was) I was working as a Metro Driver in Adelaide in South Australia. Whilst heading to my train I noticed a film crew taking footage of our trains in the Adelaide Station. Turned out they were from Japan doing some filming of Australian trains for a show called Railway Story. They were meant to ride with me but had to change at he last minute. Probably good as I would have picked their brains about japanese trains :-) I have looked everywhere for footage from the episode but no luck. I believe it showed Adelaide's metro trains as well as footage from The Ghan which runs from Adelaide to Darwin. If anyone knows where I might find the footage, or even if there are DVD's of the series any help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance Link to comment
bikkuri bahn
Railway Story is a program produced by broadcast satellite channel Wowow. This is the program HP: http://www.wowow.co.jp/documentary/railway/index.html This may be the episode you're talking about: http://www.wowow.co.jp/pg_info/detail/100674/index.php#content?target=scene001&m=01 I don't think they produce DVDs. You have to watch the channel or get membership to the website to watch the on-demand episode library. Edited January 17, 2014 by bikkuri bahn Link to comment
