DBSchenker60008
Nice train pack! I have just bought the Kato E5 Shinkansen basic set in HO scale which came to me yesterday from Japan. I am very impressed with this train pack and I like how well the Japanese pack the parcels for shipment to the UK :). Yeah I had to pay import fees but its still much cheaper than buying the same model train in the UK ;). Link to comment
VJM
Mine has arrived as well, courtesy of Loco1Hobby. Fantastic model. I'm about to fit the lighting kits, but how do you get the roof off the KANI and OHANEFU end cars? Link to comment
fenice19
sorry but i don't like this model. it seems very simple, poor in details and add on for this price. Cassiopeia is the best model they have made. Edited January 19, 2014 by fenice19 Link to comment

bnicolas1987
Hi, Sorry for not answering, but I'm a little busy those days. The cars are really easy to open, like all Tomix cars, you just have to move apart the body from the chassis. Be careful of some small parts in the tail cars. I'll show this as soon as possible. See you. Nicolas 1 Link to comment
VJM
Looking forward to it. Thanks Nicolas. Link to comment

VJM
Nicolas, how did you get the shell off the EF81? Just pull the sides of the loco out and let the chassis drop out? I'm trying to be gentle with mine, but it's not really moving. Link to comment
bnicolas1987
Yes, You have to use a tool like a screwdriver or something and open the clips. Let me know if you don't manage to do this, I'll make a new picture. See you. Nicolas Link to comment

bnicolas1987
Hi, I need some informations about this train... As I'm fitting all the add on parts on the train, i need to know if all cars have the lightboard with the name of the train and the destination or some cars have only the name of the train. I'm thinking on the car N°5 "Salon du Nord" that can have maybe only the name "Twilight Express" on his lightborad. Can maybe someone help me with that? Thank you in advance!!! Link to comment

bnicolas1987
Hi, Today I finished the DCC in both end cars, here are some pictures and explanations in how to do it, it's very easy and ther is a lot of free space to place the function decoder. Now the last thing to do is to programm the decoder to let the white light always lighted. See you. Nicolas Link to comment
