Looking for English Language Information on Japanese Trains

Hey All,

 

I'm pretty new to Japanese trains and railroading in general.  I was wondering if there are any good books or places online with written information I can read to just get a better understanding of Japanese Railroads.  I did a little google searching and found www.jorsa.or.jp and see that they have english language white papers on various aspects of Japanese trains.  However, they don't release those papers to just anyone.  Anyway, if you have any good books or websites with just general information on Japanese trains I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks!
