Hello from Torrance, California

Hi all,

I'm happy to have found this site and look forward to learning new things.

I got the JR bug some years ago after going to Japan and have built a small (2x4) layout representing a branchline up to a mountain onsen. I travel to Japan 2-3 times a year and try to ride new trains. Next trip will be to Kyushu.

Hey a fellow SoCal member!  That's awesome you go to Japan so often, I'm aiming to try to go at least every 3-4 years myself.  Hope to hear about all your awesome railfan experiences over there.

Sounds good!  When is the next time you're heading back to Japan?

I plan to go over March/April. Also heading over in August for the big JAM meet
