Hankai Line tramway, Hamadera-ekimae to Sumiyoshi-toriimae

YouTube user nimo5 posted this interesting cab view video of the Hankai Line tramway going north from Hamadera-ekimae to Sumiyoshi-toriimae stations:

 

 

Note that nimo5 rode a very old tram, which on the builder's plate you see on the video is dated Shōwa 3, or 1929! I'm not even sure if Hiroden has a tram in regular service this old.

I really thought these wooden tramcars were withdrawn some years back. Apparently not.

EDIT: Note the long queue of people waiting to get on at the Tennoji-ekimae, the north end of the line.

Aaah yes, I was watching the first video while feeding my little boy milk and slowly soothing him to sleep. He likes the sound of engines. xD
