Inaka
Hello from OZ. Chris from ACT Australia , new to the forum. Back to model railways after a 14yr break. Used to model 1914 Bavaria , Austrian HOe ,and GWR 1930s. My interest is in exhibitions and building layouts for same. My main interest is scenery.( I used to be a graphic artist.) After my return to the hobby I discovered a lot of changes ...including the internet. Because, I am interested in so many prototypes I have decided that micro/small layouts are the answer. I have now discovered Japanese N gauge and will build 4 layouts...2.5 are already built. I love the Tomytec moving bus and have a couple of sets to use on one of the layouts. Currently collecting Japanese N gauge , basically through E-Bay and a Japanese gentelman who seems to be selling a fair ammount of his collection to me...LOL. By the way ..is the Hakone Tozan railway addictive? Thanks..Chris. Link to comment
Concept Model Trains
Welcome to the forum Chris! It sounds like you are quite motivated with Japanese model train projects. I joined the forum about 5 years ago. At that stage I was the first member from the ACT. It's good to know that we now have another member from Canberra. Bryan Link to comment
cteno4
Welcome Chris! I think you will find a huge range of prototypes and scenes in Japan to satisfy your modeling! Sounds like you have a great start. When you get to it start som threads on what you are doing with your layouts, would be great to see!
