sister just returned from Japan with train stuff!

My sister just returned from 2 weeks of touring around Japan and visiting friends and managed to bring back almost an entire suitcase full of train-related souvenirs for me! (I may have given her a small to-do list).

 

I also heard about an event in Hibiya Park that I sent my sister to which is how she was able to get her hands on pencils and stuff from railways as far away as Nishitetsu.

 

Highlights of the haul include:

 

- An Odakyu Romancecar B-Train Shorty set (only available direct from Odakyu)

- A Yamanote Line thermometer

- Pencils and a pen from Nishitetsu (I used to use the bus and rail network a lot when I lived in Shimonoseki and worked in Kyushu)

- A Shinkansen E5 pencil case with interior

- A train calendar (not pictured)

 

Needless to say, best sister ever!

Wow, needless to say you must have looked like a kid on Xmas morning opening that pile up!

LOL im an only child so see the double edged sword a sibling can be! so many friends growing up had toy torture battles like this with siblings. garbage disposal, lighting on fire, toilet (with other stuff with it), dog toy, garbage, stomping etc. one friend went too far with a battle with his older sister and really got it. she stepped on a model ship i think so he beheaded her barbie and stuck the head on the family's car antenna. that got him in some trouble and worry that he was some sort of sociopath. but he just saw it as shock value to her crunching his model!

 

you need to be very very good to your sister or perhaps you were a great bro before to deserve such a great goodie bag! anyhow get her a bouquet of flowers asap!
