N700 Shinkansen will have upgrade on braking function

JR Tokai hosted a press event to show their upgrade work for brake function on N700 Series Shinkansen.

JR Tokai is planning to apply this upgrade to all of their N700 rolling stocks by FY2015 end.  This will be implanting new technology installed on N700A series.  This will enhance braking function by 15% and will reduce braking distance by 10% when earthquake happens.
