Mania
For the Tomix single rail type overhead tracks, which feeders do I use? The regular kind or the slab rail type? I've been trying to search for pictures that show the underside of the tracks, but to no avail... Link to comment
bill937ca
I don't believe there is feeder provision for the single track viaduct track pieces. I think Tomix views the single track viaduct as a bridge extension rather than a stand alone line. There is however, the Tomix 3064 Viaduct S-70A a very fiddly piece of viaduct casting that requires a S70 straight and has a removable side piece that allows a 5534 DC feeder to be attached. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10009767 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10009767z/70/1 See diagram 3 I've used it before and it is hard to put together. The three pieces want to go there own way when I try to attach the outer wall. You can attach a Tomix 5534 DC feeder to the Tomix 1061 DS140 straight track. There is a pop out section that allows the feeder to fit in. http://jtrains.wordpress.com/2008/11/02/tomix-1061-ds140-overhead-track/ For slab track you can use the 5538 wide track /slab track feeder. I've never tried slab track. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10089698 Edited October 22, 2013 by bill937ca Link to comment
