Not really difficult to guess why "suddenly" tons of Sanriku Railway trains are being released the last few years. They do also have very nice paintings.

They also need to get all the help they can, they were very devastated for a small line with the earthquake and tsunami.

 

Even so they helped omocha express find schools to donate to and wanted to help their community even when they were so deeply hurt themselves.

I can understand that. I find it great that manufacturers are releasing their trains because it will hopefully will make people not forget about it.

I think for them its probably more to keep the spirits up and the small rr alive in the public eye as well. they were very positive about rebuilding, hard for such a small line a bit out of the way. some interesting articles after the event.
