Jcarlton
A short video of a VSE out from Shinjuku. Run fast so the VSE looks like it's running as fast as a N700: 2 Link to comment
miyakoji
In this video it looks cool, but I've noticed some other YT uploaders do normal and accelerated versions of many of their videos, I don't really see the appeal. Link to comment
cteno4
funny running fast it makes it look like a btrain shorty! jeff Link to comment
Sacto1985
Here's the scary part about this video: I recognize most of the places where they got the train shots! Must be the zenmen tenbou video where you can see every station from Hakone Yumoto to Shinjuku Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line: Link to comment
JR 500系
Way too fast... I love watching the Odakyu slowly running past... This is like shinkansen speed! The 50000 VSE is really a nice looking train! Link to comment
ToniBabelony
That is some model train realism right there! By the way, @3:27 I need to go to the roof of BONO and watch trains... If only time... Link to comment
Ronny
Is the new ICE 4, not a VSE :) Link to comment
JR 500系
Ever imagined how the driver went up to his cabin right on top of the passengers? Found this interesting video of how: Interesting! Now i'n thinking all the parnoramic trains with cabins on the top, especially the various Kiha-185s (like the No-Do-Ka etc) and those with front doors (like the Super Oozora, Super Hakucho and Super Azusa etc) have this similar function? 1 Link to comment
Densha
Wow, I wouldn't want to be a train driver in one of these. Way too scary because you don't have an escape route. The pictures I saw of an older Romance Car did have normal stairs. I know the Dutch equivalent of front door trains have a door that leads to the stairways up to the cab above the doors, but don't know about the E351 series, etc. Link to comment
cteno4
I'm sure there are emergency release mechanisms and the windshield probably can come out. Jeff Link to comment
