Well, it's fairly close to new years, we're just a little bit early ;)

 

Actually, the entire frontpage needs a facelift, including some design changes. I did actually update the design, but it somehow got lost when transitioning from my local test install to the live one. I blame it on the fact that I was putting the new forum live around new years, around 4-5am  .. 

 

If all goes well I'll have about 3.5 weeks off from work in December, I'll be having a look at some forum stuff then, including updating what needs to be updated and hopefully some performance fixes. Unfortunately work has been keeping me far too busy all year to really sit down and get stuff done.
