I thought in Japan monkeys only lived far away from people. To answer your questions: 1. Yes, I believe those KiHa 120's are trapped. 2. And yes, that is a crab on the rail tracks. 3. What you saw are Japanese macaques. They're native to Japan and can be quite aggressive, as a recent news story of a group of macaques becoming dangerous pests near the city of Miyazaki on Kyushu noted. Link to comment
