gmat
Toni, living in Japan, has anyone pointed out to you a weekly page in the magazine Shukan Grendai that has a very nice train photograph, a small map showing the shooting spot near the tracks and a ticket for that line. I look at it each week. Be warned that it's also a men's magazine so there are color pages that might raise your girlfriend's eyebrows. But the train page makes it worth a peek. I look at it each week, but never buy it. http://www.yesasia.com/global/shukan-gendai-20641-10-06-2012/1031478114-0-0-0-en/info.html Sorry can't find an example of the page on the internet. Best wishes, Grant Edited August 26, 2013 by gmat Link to comment
ToniBabelony
Okay, thanks for the info! I'll take a peek in it next time I'm in the bookstore. Tetsudou Fan also has articles like these of where to find the best photo-spots. My standards, despite my utterly crappy material, are quite high, since I don't want any signs, wires and catenary poles interfering in my pictures. Very hard... Link to comment

gmat
This week has a head shot of an SL on a line in Hokkaido. I wonder if I could scan the page to show people what it's like. Grant Link to comment
