cteno4
I was just using this great little vise while working on a chassis last night. they are little vises used to hold watches but make great cradles to firmly hold a chassis while you work on it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Watch-Case-Open-Holder-Watchmakers-Repair-Vise-Tool-/150655769148?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2313c89a3c if you put your motor cars in them with the shell still on just add a short bit of latex hose around the studs or wrap a bit of foam rubber packing material around them. wonderful little tool for $3 (or less if you lurk auctions for them). I also put 4 small rare earth magnets on the back side so i can pop it down on my metal plate on my work bench so its held very firmly on the bench. great for trying to apply power to one truck as you lube or clean the wheels of the other truck or just hold the chassis firmly as you reassemble things. cheers jeff 1 Link to comment
