Freight Containers

HobbySearch has posted some interesting new pre-orders for those with container trains.

 

Greenmax appears to be making an entrance into the world of containers.  12' containers with functional hinged doors.  They look an awful lot like those made by ACI Toys a few years ago.  The $15 price tag for two 12' containers is steep.  However, I am getting a pair of the JRE dolphin painted.  They're a container I have not seen before.. also comes in JRF maroon, 50th Anniversary green and Chou-tsuun blue.

 

Hogarakadou is re-releasing it's JOT J-Bears containers..

 

Hogarakadou is also putting out a Mazda container

 

I'm going to need to design a container yard with how big my container collection is growing..

 

Probably going to need a lot more Koki 107s too..

I'm limiting myself to containers I have seen in videos of freight trains on the Biwako line and that cost less than 1100 yen per 60'.

Those 19D 50th Anniversary railway containers fit the first criteria but the price is much too high. Too bad the Tomix ones aren't available anymore.
