Dr. Yellow at level crossing

I didn't know that the Shinkansen had any crossings even to the shops. But here it is:

From the amount of attention this obviously a special move, but the track must be standard gauge and Dr. Yellow was moving under it's own power.

thanks. shinkansens do feel big on a level grade crossing! 700 feels like a freight train going thru...

this is actually the crossing right in front of the Shinkansen service yard at Hamamatsu. The service yard is located almost due west of Hamamatsu Station.
