Sacto1985
YouTube user saremya has produced another excellent zenmen tenbou video, this time of the Home Liner Toyohashi train from Ogaki west of Nagoya to Toyohashi east of Nagoya: Note the quite loud traction motors on the 373 Series trainset and the very liberal use of the horn. 1 Link to comment
ToniBabelony
Oh wow! I never realised the 373 Series had such and awesome sound! They're pretty loud though... Link to comment
miyakoji
Another Homeliner service that's no longer. JR Central must have a lot of these 373s and 313-8000s sitting around. At least some of the 373s are apparently on local service, by dbz586601: That would be a comfortable ride! Link to comment
Sacto1985
So what did the JR Central replace the Home Liner services with? More "rapid" services with fewer stops from Nagoya west to Ogaki and east to Toyohashi instead? Link to comment
Sacto1985
By the way, here's an alternate zenmen tenbou video from YouTube user dbz586601 of the Home Liner Toyohashi service, taken when the train left Ogaki Station west of Nagoya just before sunrise to arriving at Toyohashi in the morning daylight: Link to comment
Sacto1985
As an extra bonus, dbz586601 also posted a video of the 373 Series EMU from Maibara to Ōgaki Station: Note the quite mountainous terrain from Maibara to Tarui Stations. Link to comment
