Densha
It's just a short preview fragment, but I really like the high-cab view from the 183 series that you usually can't find on youtube. And that scenery... wow. 3 Link to comment
miyakoji
Yeah, unfortunately the railways won't let amateur videographers put their cameras in the cab! This video does look really good. Link to comment
bronzeonion
That is one thing I have always wondered about being a train enthusiast in Japan. Do they ever get a look in the cabs of trains (except the Romance Car where there are few videos online already and it seems to be an official thing) or even get cabrides? Often here in the UK if you know any drivers or conductors it is very possible they will let you in the cabs on a train they are working or even at a terminus station it's possible to have a look in the cab if you ask the driver for a quick photograph of the cab! Obviously both things are against the rules and if caught the responsible staff would be disciplined but it happens! Link to comment

It's against regulations, even if a driver lets someone in, another passenger would likely report it or post video of it to youtube. 1 Link to comment
E6系
Hello Mr Bronzeonion, So sorry. It is not possible to ride in the cab in Japan. It is even quite difficult for professional such as TV network to obtain permission. 1 Link to comment
