the lighthouse and observation tower just off enoshima is another great reason to model the area! doesnt look super hard to build.

Ooh! I missed the layout when I was in Enoshima two days ago! Then again, I was riding our bicycle and not going by train. Anyway, have a bad attempt at a panorama shot from the Enoshima beach from Enoshima itself.

That tower would definitely be a great "signature" structure for a layout to give it a sense of place, but I think it would be a lot of work to make.
