ToniBabelony
Damn. A lot of patchwork going on there. Must be the heavy use and sea winds that batter the 251s so much. Link to comment
westfalen
Good to see them getting spruced up a bit, the last time I saw one they were looking a bit shabby. Link to comment
miyakoji
Yeah, good to see them getting spruced up, rather than getting the shears . That 255 set is still in good condition. Different generation of equipment of course, and maybe it has gotten a paint job more recently. DE10 1099 sure looks good! Link to comment
bronzeonion
I noticed on alot of the older steel bodied stock on JR there is alot of patchwork going on, especially the Omiya 183 series. Areas especially around the roof area just seem to have had a filler or a sealing agent just applied straight on and painted over. Link to comment
Nick_Burman
That DE must be permanently assigned as the the Omiya shop switcher - note painted wheel rims. Cheers NB Link to comment
Densha
note painted wheel rims. Indeed, I can't remember seeing that ever on stock that has been used for years; you don't usually see them even cleaning the bogies! You can only see it in the model. Link to comment
