cteno4
Just a quick note on sources for two items that i have found useful in modeling are microspheres and sequins. microsperes are tiny beads w/o stringing holes. you can get the kind for nail decoration (cheap on ebay) at about 1mm (6" scale dia) or the smallest ive found is 0.6mm (just over 3" scale). these are great fro fruit on trees or in crates, etc. craft outlet has a nice range of glass and plastic microspheres in a nice range of colors at decent prices and shipping. a small packet will be enough for a life time. they dont paint well as they are soo tiny that when the paint goes over them they really blob out a lot. http://www.the-crafts-outlet.com/servlet/the-Microbeads/Categories Sequins are also nice little bits to use in various situation like outside Light shades, tv dishes and other little bits. finding them outside the usual size is not all that easy, but this shop has a wide range of sizes and shapes at reasonable pricing and shipping as well http://ccartwright.com/ contact me off list if you need some of either of these items i have a nice little selection of these and enough for a few hobbyist lifetimes and am willing to share. cheers jeff Link to comment
