medusa
OMG luckily I haven't to take line 13 normally... The absolutely frightening Menuaru Densha, produced by MicroAce (A0424) (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10045230) Reminds me to some of the surrealists... some influence by Salvatore Dali? Link to comment

I've seen tour busses that are more appealing. The flag mustache isnt doing it any favors. 10 hours ago, velotrain said: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIFERMA_Class_CC_01-21#/media/File:SNIM_Alsthom_CC05_1994_02.JPG From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIFERMA_Class_CC_01-21 I actually like this guy, it looks rugged and industrial, but not too busy on the outside. 1 Link to comment

Suica
I really liked the Blue Tiger as a kid. I even had a H0 gauge model. Should probably still be around somewhere. I think it would actually look really good in another colour. Link to comment

HVLE still operates a few of them, in an orange and silver paint scheme. http://www.marklinfan.net/loco11/hvleblutiger.jpg Also Malaysia bought 20 locomotives and designated them as "Class 26". http://www.railpictures.net/images/d1/3/0/1/7301.1161396000.jpg ...and according to wikipedia they are Sultan Ibrahim of Johor's favourite locomotives. He's a railway enthusiast and the Sultan of Johor, a state of Malaysia (wich is a federative constitutional monarchy). He drove one in 2011 when Tanjong Pagar station closed. https://web.archive.org/web/20110704003713/http://blogs.straitstimes.com/2011/7/1/royal-on-the-rails http://www.utusan.com.my/berita/nasional/sultan-johor-mahu-ktmb-beri-perkhidmatan-terbaik-1.190632 http://www.thesundaily.my/news/1362915 1 Link to comment
Socimi
New one: London Underground F stock, in service from 1920 to 1960 on the Metropolitan Line. It's not a converted intermediate car nor one built with spare pieces. They where born that way. https://www.flickr.com/photos/1cliffie1/6793553060 https://www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/5925897934 Those oval windows are the actual cab windows. and those four circles on the lower part of the body are the headlights' movable covers. Because switching them off wasn't enough. Link to comment

Kiha66
Reminds me of the Pacific Electric blimp class, although I'll admit to being rather fond of these cars. A fun fact, the Hankyu railway is modeled after the Pacific Electric, from building new residential areas and shopping centers to create demand, down to the red/orange color of their trains. PE also had a passenger/baggage rebuild with triple portholes. (I'll admit this one is kinda ugly) 1 Link to comment
Socimi
Dunno if it is real or just a photoshop, but according to the description it is a 1980s prototype design for the "New Generation Suburban Trains", what will became the 211, 213, 719 and 415 series (it actually seems to be based on the early version of the latter). https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DK-ljf8VoAACkCU.jpg Early 415 series (1971) http://www.uraken.net/rail/alltrain/ec/415kuysyu.jpg 211 series in JNR livery (1987) https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ja/2/2e/JNR_EC_Mc211-1.jpg Edited December 25, 2017 by cteno4 Link to comment
