Bye-bye Byun-Byun!

Dave Fossett's amazing resource for shinkansen fans, Byun-Byun Shinkansen, has gone offline (no sense in offering a link…). Dave said to the JTrains Yahoo Group that this is a permanent condition, but that he will be transferring some of the information to Wikipedia. Sadly, the site has already gone dark, so the information that was once there is inaccessible until he makes it otherwise available.

 

Ah well, it was a great run while it lasted, eh?

His site was my first introduction to Japanese trains over five years ago. But, I can understand his point too about he would rather pull the site than let the data go un-updated and obsolete.
