mrpig
I accidentally pushed the buy button on this little gem..... honest. This is a real sweet little steamer. Excellent detail and runs like a swiss watch. Just gotta get rid of that gigantic rapido thing on the back and it will be perfect. Link to comment

Bernard
Ooooh....very nice detail on the Imperial Loco. :o A lot of US modelers have been buying MicroAce steam engines and kitbashing them to make N. American prototypes. I don't know how they do this but they like the running of the MicroAce trains. Gordon, why don't you give a review on the train it's pro & cons (but looking at it I can't think of any cons!) (I say this because I got a Minitrix Orient Express steam engine and I wished I had know it could just about pull the cars that came with the set.) Link to comment

That's a tempting idea, especially since I'm not all that concerned about "realism" with the one steam engine we plan to get. I have some old Santa Fe heavyweight cars that will look OK with steam--we're going to invent a "rail museum" to justify having them on our catenary'd layout... Link to comment
