1960's Japan Modeling in Model Railroader

I started to purge my ancient and just filling up space Model Railroader and RMC collections and came upon a very nice article on Japanese modeling in the 1960's by Linn Wescott in the October 1964 MR:

If you get a chance to see it there's some great stuff about what they were doing in HO in the days before N scale even existed.  I couldn't find a scan online, but if somebody has the magazine it's fun to see what was and how things have changed.

I've been going through old Model Railroaders on DVD (when they bought out the DVD all my old 'hard copy' issues back to about 1960 went to the recycle bin) looking for track plans to fill a vacant 14x14 ft spare room and happened upon that article just the other night. I wonder what they would have thought if they could have seen what we have today.
