bill937ca
There is the Kato Chibi-Totsu Set in either blue or red. Its buried on HS. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10144819 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10113314 TGW and Pro Hobby offers some small engines, but these are more MOW items. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10102726 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10066027 EDIT Some small passenger cars were used as mules after retirement from passenger service on minor private railways.. The prototype of this car was used in this way on the Kumamoto Electric Railway where Electric Railways of Japan notes "traffic was not heavy enough to require electric locomotives and was handled behind passenger cars on schedule trips." Essentially a tow car for a single trailer. This requires a TM-03 drive. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10077022 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10049207 Edited June 5, 2013 by bill937ca Link to comment
3railgreg
bill937ca, thanks for the reply. I have looked at the Pocket Line sets with the little steeple cab type loco. I am curious as to how well the run, I believe I have seen good and bad reports, but that is the perfect size. Track curves on layout are R150, which my tram runs on, and outer loop is R183, so pretty tight. It is basicly 2 dogbones together. Will get a pic up here soon to "show it off" :) ! Thanks!! Martijn Meerts
Small electric loco? http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10094235 obviously ;) Link to comment
Densha
@Martijn I thought you'd come up with some World Craft kit, but this is better than I expected. ;) Link to comment
Martijn Meerts
Well, there's also a World Craft kit version, as well as a pre-made/pre-painted one from World Craft as well. Thing is, I have that kit, and it's a pain to build, really small, and I'm not talking about the detail bits and pieces =) Edited June 6, 2013 by Martijn Meerts Link to comment
tossedman
Those tight corners sound like the perfect setting for a B Train Shorty. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10210675 Cheers eh, Todd Link to comment
bill937ca
Kato is bringing back the Pocket Line steeple cab. Affordable and good for kit bashing. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10144819 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10113314 1 Link to comment
3railgreg
Thanks bill937ca, will look into these. It was what I originally was going to get anyway just to add freight action to my layout. Link to comment
