bill937ca
This is another Tokyo rail line quirk. Kuhonbutsu Station on the Tokyu Oimachi line, first station past the Tokyu Jiyugaoka junction, is located in the middle of a grade crossing and its platform is hemmed in by grade crossings on either end. Oimachi line trains are five cars and because of the grade crossings only three cars can actually load and unload in Kuhonbutsu Station. There are separate platforms for the guards of these trains including the usual closed circuit tv monitor. The station resembles a small Greenmax house. bill937ca
Just for completeness, until Feburary 24th of this year Oimachi line trains also over ran the platforms at Tokyu Oimachi Togoshi park station. 1 Link to comment
