*my only encounter with a train hopper was at Pueblo, Colo. back in the early nineties. I was at a photo location near what the locals call "Goat Hill"-  A southbound BN gen. merch. freight was passing by, and I saw a young man waving from an open door on a boxcar.  I waved back, and he shouted "going to Texas!!"  I wonder if he made it there.

Yeah, I heard this on NPR. I wonder what the story is for image 11 of 14 on the npr.org link. He's probably lucky. I wonder what these people do about dental care.
