Next station down is Shimbashi and this is evening rush action. Edited April 19, 2013 by bill937ca 1 Link to comment
Jcarlton
The trains of the East side of Tokyo. You don't believe the action until you see it. Link to comment
JR 500系
I think the Yuracho station and Kanda Station in Tokyo are great for watching trains, since being near to Tokyo which is a shinkansen station. One can get to watch local trains pulling in and out of station, with the colourful shinkansens of JR East and white-based trains of JR West in the background... That is why my personal favourite JR operator is still JR East, given the colourful local train lines (Yamanote, Kehin-Tohoku, Tokaido etc), the beautiful express trains (E351 Super Azusa, E259 Narita Express, Series 251 Super View Odoriko etc) and the amazing shinkansens. (E2, E3, E5, E6 etc) Link to comment
Sacto1985
I actually prefer Nippori Station, since not only can you see JR East trains and Tohoku/Joetsu/Nagano Shinkansen trains, but also the trains on the Keisei line. Link to comment
