cteno4
ok so ive seen lego blocks used for modeling to make little coffer dams for casting moulds and ive also seen them used to make little glueing jigs (nice 90 degree angles!). but heres an interesting idea, use them to attach your build's walls together so you can easily disassemble it! this chap like to tear apart his building on his tram setup and store them flat. ver cool idea! http://kagoshima.ikidane.com/tram-layout/structure-01.htm http://kagoshima.ikidane.com/tram-layout/structure-02.htm http://kagoshima.ikidane.com/tram-layout/structure-03.htm jeff ps looking at maybe doing kagoshima-Chuo station for the jrm station and the building with the ferris wheel on the roof might be fantastic to do! only in japan! JR 500系
Good idea! Unfortunately, that's not Lego. Definately not. They are way too large to be LEgo bricks. My guess should be 'Kawada' blocks that is very popular in Japan, and also cheaper than Lego (In Japan that is). Kawada is the former blocks that defines 'Nano Blocks' nowadays, which is famous for the scenry buildings and small brick built animals...Speaking of which, i was tempted to get this Nano Block but after seeing it in real life built up, the scale is off unfortunately...http://www.mynanoblock.com/site/?collect=kaminarimon * Also, what amazes me is the last picture... It's great work! But the thing is, i thought the buses he used (The yellow with blue strips bus) is only susposed to be released in the upcoming Tomytec Bus Collection 18? How did he get it sooner? Interesting.... Edited April 13, 2013 by JR500 のぞみ Link to comment
