Odakyu now has a very good English language web site with a promotional video for the Romancecar trains. Its a  much improved web site over a couple of years ago.

Meh, they advertise the 7000 Series with a picture of the new livery, not the old one: http://www.odakyu.jp/english/romancecar/lineup/ Sill, a huge improvement!

Actually, did they repaint one of the still active sets in the old livery? I thought I saw some picture of it a while back. I like the older livery better too.

Also there's tons of videos about the 7000 series on youtube, awesome stuff.

Everytime I see this train it reminds me of Microsoft Train Simulator.

What you probably saw was an ex-Odakyu HiSE running on the Nagano Electric Railway as a four-car train in Yukemuri express service .  Nagano Electric Railway likes to retain its second-hand equipment in the colors of its original owner.

The 7000 Series (only two sets remain) are both in their introduction livery, looking very retro and adding a nice variation to the other boring trains.
