The "Super Oki" rural express from Matsue to Shin-Yamaguchi

YouTube poster mnfeconicuzn posted a multi-part video of a front view on the JR West Super Oki express train from Matsue westward to Masuda on the San'in Main Line and Masuda to Shin-Yamaguchi on the Yamaguchi Line. The video playlist can be access here:

 

 

I like this video because it goes through rural parts of Japan that few foreigners--let alone many Japanese--get to see. The Super Oki train uses the KiHa 187 DMU, which runs from two to four units per train depending on demand.
