I've often wondered why they do these moves with locos instead of just driving the train itself, especially in cases like these where it's already been tested on the lines. bikkuri bahn Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 (edited) I reckon it's being towed as the section of the connecting line between JR Zushi Station and J-TREC's Kanazawa Plant is not electrified.
